The McBride Sisters are the first African-American sisters to found and own a wine company. Though continents apart, Robin & Andréa were raised around vineyards in developing wine regions (Monterey, California, and Marlborough, New Zealand respectively), each independently fostering their own appreciation for the craft of winemaking and unaware of the other for nearly two decades. Despite the 7,000 miles that separated them, they would eventually find their way to each other in 1999. Once united, their appreciation for winemaking blossomed and they were compelled to share their mutual love of wine with the world. Their story is proof of the bond that can form over a bottle of wine, a story that comes to life with all McBride Sisters wines. The McBride Sisters Wine Collection has perfected wines from New Zealand and the Central Coast of California and is crafted in the Sisters’ signature style: a blend of old-world elegance with new world finesse.
The company aims to transform the wine industry into one that is inclusive, approachable and accessible while uniting, inspiring and delighting customers from all walks of life.
Diversity & Inclusion: We’re doing our part by welcoming teammates with opinions and experiences across every race, gender, age, religion and identity. This allows us to better understand and serve our customers—because we are our customers.
